THEATER! OSC-ATOR

OSC-ATOR lets you send custom OSC (Open Sound Control) messages directly from Ableton Live by renaming MIDI clips. This makes it a powerful tool for triggering external applications like QLab, Resolume, or custom OSC setups—all from within your session.

How It Works:

1. Enter the IP Address and Port of the receiving device.
2. Create a MIDI clip and rename it with your desired OSC message (e.g., /cue/3/go to trigger a cue in QLab).
3. The device instantly sends the OSC message when the clip is renamed.
4. A built-in monitor displays all sent messages in real time, so you can easily track what’s being triggered.
5. The OSC message can be sent as soon as the clip starts playing or delayed by triggering it with a MIDI note—for example, on the third bar.
